Back in 1994, Lotus Fest had its first event in downtown Bloomington. Around 900 people came to see the inaugural event that consisted of one night of world folk music. These days the festival draws closer to 10,000 people with a total of four days and nights of music, workshops and Lotus in the Park. Tyler James Perry
